An underperforming startup

Pros

There are some strong profiles (but rare) in some departments especially engineering team and strategy team. Good collaboration opportunities with early customers. Has enough money.

Cons

Poor first and second level management in general. No experience and knowledge in the domain also in management. Lack of support which is critical from investors. Extreme pressure on some of the teams. Many people only show off without contributing at all.

At this moment It’s chaos and pure disaster

Just a few people know what they are doing. At this moment It’s chaos and pure disaster, Today there is no way to make any progress. Deadlines are being pushed again and again due to the lack of experienced people in the most important positions in the company who can’t make any progress. The first line of management and the second line too are just amateurs without any idea about management and no experience, and they can’t make any difference in this chaos. They are just pushing the company to its collapse. The culture is based on boot licking and politics is more important than anything else. The HR team is contributing very well to promoting this false safe and unhealthy environment. Even the feedback tool/process is just a way to pretend that your voice as an employee is heard but, it’s just used for flattery and not meeting the expectations of employees. People from different departments have been leaving after they figured out that it’s a waste of time to stay in this environment where you can’t make a change.

As you know, we have different internal communication channels and an open door policy, which is why we are amazed that and are wondering why you chose this very specific public channel.
