The trap here is that the HR would initially tell you that you have a high chance of going to Japan. That's true if you're lucky. If you're not, you could wait in vain for years. Positive thinking: keep on improving Japanese because that's the only useful benefit you're getting from this company (This is your reward for being underpaid and overworked )
After the training your growth as a hardcore developer will slow down or most likely stop. Common projects are testing, documentation or maintenance of proprietary things. Thankfully the management has the initiative now to explore new things(not really new anymore) like cloud computing etc.
OT is very usual here. Say farewell to your family and friends for the mean time. The worst case here is that you don:t get to go home for 2 straight nights. and for those 2 straight nights you're awake and working! They tend to accept big projects to be done in a short amount of time knowing that their employees don't have the skills for that project. They also designed your salary like this: minimal basic salary, max allowances. They made it like that saying that they want to avoid having their employees taxed(lolsure). That would be great if you were assigned to a project that doesn't really do much otherwise you're in it for the downside. BUT with that very small basic salary your OT pay would also be small. Even if you work 200 to 300 hours for this company(that happens a lot) your OT pay won't be as much as you expect it to be. They treat OT here as if it were a requirement. If you don't render, you're a sinner, go to Cyrene and have yourself crucified. True story bro, just a little exaggerated. Remember, as an employee, you don't have rights.
Because this is a small company(dreaming big), having big responsibilities is common. The catch there is you have important responsibilities, you contribute a lot but your salary is the salary of a fresh graduate.
You're in a bond? Live with it because you don't have any other choice anyway. Believe it or not you DO have options ;) It's like thinking of ways to break out of prison. But time would go so fast you won't even notice. One day you'll just wake up look into the mirror before going to another day of hell and you'll find yourself decaying and the bond is over.
