I came with a positive attitude despite the many horrible (but true) reviews. I worked there for less than a year because I could not stomach the constant negativity from majority of the people that worked there a second more. It was never explained in my interview that I was a temp and that I would have to wait at least a year to be considered for hire. The owner is very rude, controlling, and has no sympathy for anything personal going on in your life. If that wasnt bad enough you also get to deal with some (not all) rude, backstabbing, and sneaky coworkers who hate their job so much that they want you to as well. The owner has no issues with how she runs her company despite the high turnover rate, so I doubt there will be any change happening. So if you or your family never gets sick, never has car trouble, likes to be treated like you're disposable, or just likes being miserable every time you clock in then by all means apply today.

Benefits lousy - While benefits are negotiable, I challenge ALI to post their standard benefits on this site. I do not believe that is confidential information. No Opportunities - I challenge ALI to post their turnover ratio on this site by year. They cannot retain anyone for any length of time because they never give anyone a chance to succeed - especially salespeople. Poor management - the owner is a venture capitalist and amuses herself by torturing her employees. She micromanages and has no idea how to sell. I challenge the company to post it's general sales growth over the last few years. It is not a growing company. Dishonesty and unethical behavior of the company - look at all the reviews on this site - three of the the last ones say 'Returned to ALI – Leadership culture', 'Opportunity to Progress', and 'Worth a shot.' Who in the world would write a review that says 'Worth a Shot'?? The answer is ALI itself. I challenge ALI to reveal to Glassdoor how much stuff they have put on here themselves. Good luck on getting a straight answer. Bottom line folks is don't waste your time with this company. That is what you will be doing if you get hired. Dead end, hopefully for you not into a wall.
