Teams in the company compete and brag about their accomplishments, which can be motivating. However, this has caused them to ignore the fact that their strategy is bad and hurting the company.

They hire a lot of international young professionals that have little to no connections in the city and this makes them to almost exclusively socialize with coworkers. - Co-founders seem not to care about employees and often blame others for poor decision-making.
