Lowest in mileage/ mile pay. More workload then worth. You spend your day seeing clients, your nights charting. No family life. Hired under false pretenses. Printed out the paperwork, management called me a liar even after finding their own mistake, then didn't even honor their own mistake. Had about 4 days of training and was expected to know what was going on. Ended up with the flu and under a doctor's excused care and was fired, after management again switched after 4 months of my being there.

Typical "agency nurse" treatment especially within the Altercare Facilities: worst assignments, left work to do that regular staff nurses didn't want to do, regular staff including NHA, DON's, ADON's think its ok to bully/speak to agency staff like trash without rebuttal or recourse against them, agency staff often works in crisis staffing situations with no regard for resident acuity. Facilities outside of the Altercare network have offered a better agency nurse experience.
