Pros

WinAir has an incredibly team-oriented culture that encourages collaboration across all departments. The company's commitment to cross-functional teamwork makes it easy to see why so many employees have stayed with WinAir for more than 5-10 years. There’s a deep-rooted sense of passion among employees, who are genuinely enthusiastic about their work and the value they bring to clients. This environment fosters both professional growth and strong, supportive relationships, making WinAir a truly unique and inspiring place to work.

Cons

WinAir is a fantastic company with a strong team culture, but working in the aviation industry can be challenging due to its highly regulated nature and frequent changes. This sometimes requires extra adaptability and resilience from employees to keep up with evolving industry demands. Nonetheless, the supportive team environment at WinAir helps make these challenges manageable and rewarding.

Pros

I'm really glad that I decided to join Winair, despite some mixed reviews I read here. It's turned out to be one of the best professional decisions I've made. I've been lucky to have two amazing managers at different times. I've always felt encouraged to voice my opinions/questions/concerns, knowing that they are not only welcomed but also valued. Having such an understanding manager gives me peace of mind that I'm under the right guidance and support. Not just my manager but the senior management has always been incredibly supportive. They are good listeners. From my experience, I can say that Winair cares about its employees. If you work hard and honestly, you'll get the recognition and reward you deserve. Winair has both set of employees: old employees who have been associated for more than 10-15 years, showing 'security/satisfaction,' and new employees that indicate 'opportunity' is available here. I have no doubts about staying with this company and growing to my full potential. One of the perks is the flexible working hours, which helps maintain a good work-life balance. Summer Fridays are another amazing benefit. Winair also knows how to have fun! They organize social events, which helps create a great team spirit. It's amazing to see how fast the company is growing and the exciting things it's doing. I'm proud and happy to be a part of Winair.

Cons

It isn't a con but rather a challenging aspect of the industry I feel, that it's not as easy to understand the Aviation domain as compared to some other domains. I feel that Experience is the key to feeling fully integrated into this industry. However, it's also true that challenges like these help you grow.

Pros

Meeting Potential - I applied for a different role to what I ended up starting in - the hiring managers felt I would be a better fit for the role I ended up in, and they were right! Potential is recognised and nurtured, and if you come in with little experience, it will not be a barrier to success. Continuous Learning - This company takes a lot of time to train people in how to use the software. Opportunities to grow and to learn new technologies are there within various roles. You can be challenged to step outside your comfort zone, but I have always felt supported in these challenges, being given time to learn and adapt. Adaptability - The ability to managing changing priorities is important, and we are given opportunities to voice our opinions on what the focus should be. This company is not afraid to "roll with the punches" and make decisions that keep things moving forward in order to deliver a quality product. Team Building - A lot of team-building events, like barbeques (pre-pandemic) and now plenty of virtual events to get people together. A friendly, casual atmosphere with everyone being put at ease.

Cons

Can be high-pressure, especially if something compliance-related comes in. If customers need something to meet their obligations, they can expect it done yesterday. Need to be able to be highly flexible to meet this need. Time-tracking was uncomfortable in the beginning, but steps have been taken to mitigate this company-wide.
