Pros

The only pro to the company is the benefits. The medical is 100% or it was before. There really are not many Pro's to working here.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive, or even close to other opportunities in the Atlanta/Greater Atlanta area. They low ball you, and offer you a percentage (between 1 and 5%) and then do quick math and figures to make it look appealing to those looking to join the industry. They use big numbers to quickly show how 5% comes out to be much more than it really is after all costs are paid out on a project.

Pros

The people are why I stayed so long. I loved my co-workers. Immediate management was great and understanding as well.

Cons

Upper management will work you to the bone. I worked 70+ hours a week, for a 30k/yr salary - which means I was making $8.20 an hour. It was high stress and you were NEVER compensated for being on-call on nights and weekends. I was even promised a bonus after successfully completing a big project and then was told that I wasn't going to get it. So many people left after a year or two that they blamed the temp to hire company that recommended all of us, instead of admitting that they should have valued their employees and not work them to the bone - or at least compensate them fairly for the work they do. Anyone who is not in the sales department is viewed as "non-essential". I heard this directly from the CEO in a sales meeting.

Pros

You have the opportunity to learn a lot if you befriend the right people to train you. In sales, what you kill is yours... No limit to territory or accounts.

Cons

Most of the people in management are related to each other. In sales, quotas are created without rhyme or reason and commissions are paid out on a percentage of the gross margin on a project AFTER the customer has paid and any cost related to the project including travel and associated expenses have been calculated into project cost. Typically, 6-8 months. People are overworked and underpaid. Full 401K matching only occurs after 5 years with the company.
