Pros

The people are great - from the Sales Manager to the DJs to the owners. Very fair and supportive. The pay was fair, the benefits (health insurance, time off) were decent. I personally like working events (IU games, festivals, etc.) and so that was fun.

Cons

It's tough to sell radio advertising. And the practice of setting weekly quotas and dialing up the pressure as Friday approaches is grating - but this is a sales job after all, so it's in no way unexpected or out of the ordinary.

Pros

Can work from home.

Cons

Extremely hierarchical. All decisions and work for the whole team goes through the head of. This creates bottlenecks. With 20 years experience in my profession and my manager who is a head of has no experience in this field and yet he interferes with our work and actually reduces its effectiveness. Expected to work a minimum of 9 hrs per day and you are only praised if you do more hours than this. No work life style balance. I regret joining this firm.
