Pros

Always got paid....always a discrepancy with commissions, but paid none the less. Commission payout explanation is a 7 page excel spreadsheet.

Cons

Dead end job, commission structure is awful, company does not promote sales people, complete disconnect between sales and leadership, promises of new products that never come, operations is a disaster, software is outdated, SOP’s are not thought out, no trust of sales team, C level seems to have its own agenda, VP’s are untrained and lack direction (probably because of lack of communication from C level) 4 VPs of sales in 4 years, 4 pay structure changes in 4 years, 3 CIO’s in 4 years, 4 Heads of Operations in 4 years, 4 Presidents in 4 years *CFO is a snake and runs HR. Voicing an opinion to HR is a death sentence. *AFS is has lost all focus and is completely out of touch with modern logistical practices. Combustion is imminent. *Positive reviews here are written by management or employees who are new to the company. Buyer beware.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Commission structures are often very detailed and the spreadsheet provided to the sales team is for transparency purposes, which allows sales members to voice any concerns for review by the Compensation Team. AFS has and will continue to experience change in the organization. As many reviews have stated, it’s a fast-paced environment that requires high performance, which can be seen as challenging. Positive changes can’t be made in the organization without change in action, which our leadership team and management is driving.

Pros

I worked with some very smart people. The pay was good, but there's not enough money in the world to keep me in that environment.

Cons

The building in Greenville is cold, dark, dirty and filled with safety violations. It is a horrible work environment. In my case, there was no direction, no training, no documentation, and no on-boarding of any kind. When I asked for guidance, I was spoken down to and belittled or embarrassed. I asked to have a daily meeting to communicate a little clearer...I was told it was a waste of time. I did everything I could to try and make it work, but unless you have a crystal ball, you're not going to be able to meet their needs. I've been a top performer in IT for 20+ years, and I was treated like a junior programmer. The reason I was given..."I'm not really a people person".

Pros

Business model and some good people still hangin on. New building is a nice facade. Conveniently located to good lunch choices

Cons

Lost the team and family feel. New top leadership are wolves wearing a Sheeps coat. Beware! This place is not a good choice for long term career. Ok for something till a real career comes along

AFS is undergoing many changes with our new leadership team and this shift is bringing in new faces, but is also relying on the experience of our tenured employees. With over 24 percent of our current workforce being employed at AFS for over ten years, we are able to bring the best parts of our history with us on the new journey.
