Pros

Nice car and office, pay is good if you get good leads.

Cons

4com works by employing and letting people go on a weekly basis, most people there only last 2 months as you will be let go. You will do your two week training and while your doing this you will see people get fired each week no joke. You will learn their script which if used right is actually okay. The problem is the leads, you will turn on up to some old garage with semi retired owner who didn’t even know you were coming trying to trick him into signing a 7 year lease. 4com trains you to be deceptive and hide things from the customer, I feel so bad for customers who sign a deal with 4com they will go bankrupt. You show them a price which isn’t what they actually pay. For example you could show them a price of 100/monthly for the first 2 years, but then it will be discounted again in 2 years if you renew which means resigning another 7 year deal. If you don’t that price will double to 200. But the worst thing is you will get charged 200 a month but then 4com credits back 100 to you or something like that. but that’s not the worst thing in fact what 4com does is take out a credit agreement in the total amount you will pay in 7 years which often is around 20-40k for a small business this is bankruptcy. The way the paper work is done is so sketchy and it comes pre-printed in a weird order to stop customer seeing what they are signing. So 4com gets paid from the finance house so they instantly have 7 years worth of business within 10 mins. Then the finance house charges the customer. Worst company, I can’t say enough how awful this company is. Please stay away it’s a toxic environment there’s like 2 people who have been there for more than a year. The leads are fake a lot of the times they don’t even know your coming and want you to go away. There are different leads for the favourites and you will never get them. The notes left by the telemarketers are fake too Do not join this company Please!!!!. Also the use 4 other company names to con people. They are Harveys, rubix, pioneer, and ripple. Also every Thursday night after you finish your appointment you will go to Bournemouth goodluck if you didn’t do 4 sales that week because you are gone. And this is also the thing you could be doing well and have one bad week, and they will let you go. The you have to recite your opening statement/script goodluck if you miss a word you could be fired for that. Seen someone get 89% on his opening statement word count, end of that week he only did 2 sales. They said it’s because he is not using his opening statement and fired him. Yes it’s like that. You are literally nothing. Also they use fake reviews on trustpilot and google because hihi is cheap from China 😂 “we manufacture ourselves” is a lie

Pros

When you weigh things up... the only pro is the nice car, as you can earn more money in other sales fields given the amount of hours you put in.

Cons

4com... more like 4con, I worked as a field sales executive. They hire anywhere between 6-10 executives at the time, and they'll keep 1 or two of them... the others they'll let go weekly to keep everyone on their toes. When out In the field they offer very little training on the actual product. I managed to last longer than most. But realistically you'll be gone in a couple months. Also don't expect to be paid commission after they let you go... they will make up some excuse why all your commission is wiped out. My advice, stay away from this company... the basic seems nice, but you'll be doing 70+ hours a week, and commission is awful, of 6k commission that was meant to be paid I got a grand total of 270 pound extra. From 120k+ capital written for the business. The contracts you'll be signing their customers up too will be life unless they can afford to spend 40+k to buy out the contract. My advice... do yourself a favour stay away from this company... there's plenty of other sales companies out there where you can earn a lot more and be treated with respect rather than mocked and belittled. Don't be fooled by the big basic... this is a bad company to work for I have a few friends who own their own businesses and I wouldnt dream of letting them sign a 4com contract.

Pros

They pay well, but it's easy come easy go. Prepare to walk on eggshells every day, and god help you if you have divergent opinions than that of the management, some of the people who were made redundant learned this lesson the hard way!

Cons

4Com as it stands now is not the same company that won the "Best company to work for" award. Look behind the smokescreen. 4Com won "Best company to work for" recently, mostly in part to offering major benefits like company cars for all staff and free lunches. When voting came around all the staff were "whipped" into voting for the company to win. After they won the award they cut the perks! Took away the free lunches and the much lauded company cars. They then followed this up by making over 50 staff redundant (Google for it!) , comprising of veteran staffers, individuals and their spouses and their relatives. Clearly a cold calculated cut by the execs. There was zero warning, no chance to prepare. A normal working day descended into heartbreak and shock and all the staff were collectively dismissed. My heart goes out to the family units left without an income in a flash of a moment. The fact that, proceeding their callous handling of the situation, they still laud the "Best company to work for" award to lure in unsuspecting talent is stomach churning. You should see their carpark after hours! Over 50 Audis now without drivers, the cars are eerily just sitting there deprecating, as a grim reminder and a fitting allegory to the managements ineptitude. The icing on the cake for 4Com? Their product, the "HiHi" phone, is an Android tablet. The device is utterly insecure! All their HiHi devices are delivered to the customers rooted and can be accessed via Google ADB tools!
