There is an on call rotation. Pretty standard to me, but not everyone is used to it. We try to balance on call and deadlines, but certain people are pulled in more frequently and at a higher risk of burn out.
The cons are mostly around web3. It's a new space that can be frustrating. There isn't always an existing solution or clear answer but there is a ton of opportunity as a result. It requires more flexibility/adaptability and a willingness to explore than some industries.
