Description Video may have killed the radio star, but it's been pretty good to Video Display. Through subsidiaries, the company makes and distributes cathode-ray tubes (CRTs), displays, and related parts. The company makes more than 3,000 types of CRTs -- both new and reconditioned -- for televisions, computer monitors, data displays, medical equipment, and military training and simulation displays, among other applications. Video Display also produces electron guns (the primary components of CRTs); most are used in its display segment. Customers include L-3 Communications and the US Department of Defense. The DoD accounts for around a quarter of sales. Customers in the US provide more than 85% of Video Display's revenues.
