The RDI Group keeps a spring in its step. The company, operates three business units, which design and produce metal coil processing, paving, and asphalt roofing equipment. Its Chicago Slitter arm manufactures heavy duty coil lines and packaging systems. Reichel & Drews builds equipment for the asphalt roofing industry. Its products include shingle production equipment, coating technology, and asphalt mixing technology. The business units maintain independent product management, but the RDI Group shares facilities and manufacturing staff. RDI maintains sales and marketing offices in China and Germany. Reichel & Drews also has operations in Germany.
