Description Bacon and eggs, hash browns, and toast, on three. Break! Huddle House operates and franchises more than 400 family-style restaurants that are popular spots for breakfast and coffee in Georgia, South Carolina, and more than a dozen other mostly southern states. In addition to their morning menu, the classic coffee shops serve standard American fare (burgers, fried chicken, and steak) for lunch and dinner. The restaurants are mostly run by franchisees and are typically open 24 hours a day. John Sparks opened the first Huddle House in 1964.
