Description Money doesn't grow on trees, but fortunately for Fowler Packing, fruit does. The company packs grapes and tree fruits -- apricots, mandarin oranges, nectarines, peaches, plums, and pomegranates -- grown in California's fertile San Joaquin Valley. More than two-thirds of its fruit comes from company-owned land; the rest is sourced from nearby farms. Fowler Packing owns two packing and storage facilities totaling 400,000 sq. ft. and boxes more than 8 million crates of fruit a year under the Cuties, Ripe'n Ready, and SamSons brands. The company was founded in 1950 and is owned by the Parnagian family.
