SteelFab knows that it's still fab to be a steel fabricator; it's the #1 manufacturer of fabricated structural steel products in the Southeast US, and among the top specialty contractors. The steel-frame lineup is used in commercial and industrial construction projects, from hospitals to manufacturing facilities, power plants, water tanks, retail malls, and skyscrapers. Mid-Atlantic marquees include Gwinnette Arena, Atlanta, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, and Duke Energy, Charlotte. SteelFab operates five fabrication plants, as well as engineering and detailing centers, and a structural steel plant, through affiliate CM Steel. Started in 1955, the company is led by the family of founder J. Glenn Sherrill.
