Defence Support Group (DSG) Snapshot
The Defence Support Group (DSG) was formed in the 2008 merger of ABRO (Army Base Repair Organization) with DARA (Defence Aviation Repair Agency). A trading fund of the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD), DSG offers in-house maintenance, repair, overhaul, upgrade, and other support services for the UK armed forces, including the British Army and the Royal Air Force. Whether the need is armored vehicle repair or routine servicing of an army hospital X-ray machine, DSG is where the MoD turns for help. Other areas of expertise include calibration, equipment, large airplane, and logistic support, fleet management, and spares procurement. DSG operates from more than 10 key sites and four support sites throughout the UK.
