Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and execution of testing activities, including developing test strategies, plans, test cases and managing defect resolution.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to identify business needs, improve processes and build stakeholder consensus.
• Coordinate system, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet quality standards before release.
• Support solution design, implementation and change activities by working closely with business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing practices, business processes and test automation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams, acting as the key link between business and technology.
• Provide trusted advice and clear communication to stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making and successful project delivery.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• At least 10 years' experience in software testing, and 3+ years experience leading testing activities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Proven experience with manual testing methodologies and establishing testing frameworks from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, process analysis and business process improvement, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working across project delivery lifecycles.
• Experience with test planning, test execution, defect management and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Experience within the financial services, banking or accounting industries is not essential but is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Business Analysis and/or Software Testing certifications are desirable.
• A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
