We're looking for an experienced Test Lead & Business Analyst to join our IT team in a pivotal role that combines quality assurance leadership with business analysis expertise.
In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet business needs. You'll lead testing activities across projects while also analysing business requirements, improving processes, and helping shape practical, user-focused solutions.

Lead the planning, coordination and execution of testing activities, including developing test strategies, plans, test cases and managing defect resolution.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to identify business needs, improve processes and build stakeholder consensus.
- Coordinate system, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet quality standards before release.
- Support solution design, implementation and change activities by working closely with business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing practices, business processes and test automation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams, acting as the key link between business and technology.
- Provide trusted advice and clear communication to stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making and successful project delivery.

At least 10 years' experience in software testing, and 3+ years experience leading testing activities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Proven experience with manual testing methodologies and establishing testing frameworks from the ground up.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, process analysis and business process improvement, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working across project delivery lifecycles.
- Experience with test planning, test execution, defect management and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience within the financial services, banking or accounting industries is not essential but is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Business Analysis and/or Software Testing certifications are desirable.
- A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
