The Product Development Manager role at Hynds in Onehunga is a senior product leadership position focused on developing and expanding Hynds' water and civil infrastructure product range across New Zealand and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of new products and improvements to existing products from concept through to commercial launch.

Identify market opportunities through customer and industry insights.

Define product specifications, performance requirements, target costs, and pricing strategies.

Work closely with design engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Manage product commercialization and product lifecycle activities.

Collaborate with local and international manufacturing partners.

Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Skills and Experience Required

Product management or product development experience.

Technical knowledge in engineering, infrastructure, construction, water systems, or related industries.

Strong stakeholder management and commercial skills.

Ability to manage projects from concept to market launch.

Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Valid passport and willingness to travel.
