Job Description: Senior Research Assistant
Role Overview:
A Senior Research Assistant (SRA) supports research projects in academic, corporate, or clinical settings. They often manage experiments, data collection, and analysis while mentoring junior research staff. They serve as a bridge between principal investigators (PIs) or project leads and research teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Data Management
Conduct experiments, surveys, or field research.
Collect, clean, and analyze data using statistical tools.
Prepare research reports, tables, and visualizations.
Project Coordination
Assist in designing research methodologies.
Monitor timelines and ensure adherence to project goals.
Liaise with collaborators, sponsors, and institutions.
Supervision & Mentoring
Guide junior research assistants or interns.
Ensure protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
Documentation & Reporting
Write sections of research papers or reports.
Help in grant proposal writing or literature reviews.
Maintain detailed lab notebooks or digital records.
Compliance & Ethics
Ensure research adheres to ethical standards.
Prepare materials for institutional review boards (IRBs) or regulatory submissions.
Pay: $6,000.00 – $8,000.00 per month
