Structural Engineers (Auckland, Hastings, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin) – Expressions of Interest

Are you looking for a change or to take the next step in your Structural Engineering career?

We are interested in Expressions of Interest from motivated and talented engineering professionals with a variety of expertise and at varying experience levels to join our growing Structural team.

With a strong pipeline of significant projects within New Zealand, we welcome applications from Structural Engineers with expertise in the following areas;

• Structural Analysis and design in the following areas;
• Bridges

+ Transport Infrastructure

Pipe bridges and pipe racks

Water retaining structures

Water and wastewater treatment plants

Retaining structures

Marine and substructures including piles, shallow foundations and buried structures

• Software: SAP2000 and MathCAD
• Strong knowledge on Seismic Design Standards NZS1170 series, NSHM and SNZ TS 1170.5:2025
• Working knowledge of BIM management practices on Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit for structures
• Strong communication, people engagement, leadership and collaboration skills

We are seeking interested candidates at various levels, but specifically at Structural Engineer and Senior Structural Engineer level as we move into a significant growth phase.

Depending on your level, you’ll contribute to or lead:

• Coordination with clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Technical leadership, mentoring and quality assurance (senior roles)
• Client engagement, project strategy and business development (principal roles)
• Sustainable design initiatives and innovative engineering practices

You may bring some or all of the following:

• Tertiary or relevant qualifications in Engineering
• Experience within a consultancy environment
• Strong technical, analytical and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality design
• Chartered status or working towards it (highly regarded for senior roles)
