Customer Support Specialist | Centrix

Centrix is looking for a customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to provide outstanding support to business clients and consumers using our credit reporting, identity verification, and risk management solutions. You'll play a key role in resolving enquiries, supporting customers, and delivering an exceptional service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online support channels
- Assist customers with account access, credit reporting, and identity verification services
- Troubleshoot product and system issues and escalate complex cases when required
- Guide customers in using Centrix products and online platforms
- Maintain accurate customer records and support tickets using CRM systems
- Ensure enquiries are resolved within service level agreements (SLAs)
- Handle confidential information in line with privacy and security requirements
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Technology teams to improve customer outcomes
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, or technical support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or credit reporting
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar CRM and helpdesk platforms
- Knowledge of credit reporting or identity verification processes
- Understanding of New Zealand privacy and consumer protection legislation
