This was definitely the worst process I have been through in my career - and I have participated on 30+. First, the HR interview was quite weird: I needed to answer specific questions about SQL and Power BI - and believe me: the questions made, in my opinion, do not evaluate if I am good or bad - because the questions were related to concepts that you do not need to know daily. After being approved to go to the next step, I received a case study containing a Power BI challenge and a SQL challenge - the SQL challenge was so poorly written I asked three people to read it and try to understand what they were asking. They all were confused by it. But I did it anyway. I spent a whole lot of time giving my best. After delivering it according to the deadline, they ghosted me. They were giving me no feedback at all. Almost two weeks had passed, and then they sent that automatic email saying that they would pursue another candidate. What bothers me is that they did not give me feedback or tell me they received my case study - which is a best practice with so many companies I have worked with or participated in processes. It does not matter that I was not approved. It matters, though, the lack of consideration. I already told some colleagues from the data industry to not even bother applying at wefox.

I applied to wefox 2 times: last year and this year. Last year I just received an automated rejection email. This year they asked me to complete a technical assessment (SQL) as a first step. It was very simple. Then I had an interview with HR, he talked about the company and asked some questions about my previous experiences (what I did, which technologies I used etc.). Then he sent me a case study. I created a Power BI dashboard for them & wrote a SQL query for the case. Again, it wasn’t very hard but it took some time. After all these steps & time, they sent me the same rejection email that says they wanted to continue with other candidates. I sent email to HR and asked feedback for my case study. I tried to learn what they didn’t like etc. but he never replied. This is really upsetting & frustrating.
