I have mixed feelings about the whole recruitment process. I applied for the position and within one week I was rejected. After 3 weeks I got an email from a recruiter that even though I was rejected, they would like to talk with me. The reason for the first rejection was that I'm located in a different country the open position, and they didn't have a relocation budget. They wanted to consider me as a 100% remote employee because the company policy doesn't allow hiring someone without relocation support (you as a candidate are not allowed to move to another country for private reasons). The meeting with the recruiter and later with the hiring manager and peers from the team was great and I enjoyed it. After 1.5 weeks I got a call from the recruiter that unfortunately I was rejected again for the same reason as before - living currently in a different country for the open position. Summary: I liked the people in the company, but I dislike the company policy.
