      Marketing Manager Interview

      31 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at the LEGO Group

      Interview

The process was outlined clearly from the start and in their standard interview support materials also made this clear and painted a very positive outlook of the company and working culture, which made going through the process exciting and served as good motivation. That energy (bubbly, creative) wasn't felt so much during my interview but that didn't massively bother me. What was sad was that I had to chase for an outcome after 2 weeks of not hearing anything, however when chased I did recieve a call with feedback and an apology so that helped.

      Interview

A disrespectful big waste of time. Went through 3 interviews for the role which included presenting a case and everything seemed to be going well. The recruiter then called to say they went with another candidate, which is fair and despite the rejection the process and people had been nice to me. Until the recruiter said that even though it didn't work out for this role both her and the hiring managers thought I'd be perfect for another similar role that would be published soon. They connected me with the recruiter of the new role, and after I sent my application, a few days go by and I'm rejected even before a screening interview. One week goes by and to my surprise they changed their minds and invited me to a first interview - strange but great, right? Not really, because days before the interview they cancelled it anyway due to internal changes which means the role no longer will be filled.
