First interview was a zoom interview (30min) with head of manufacturing. Then in-person to meet with HR, injection molding engineer, manufacturing managers, process engineer.
When I showed up, they asked the front office assistant to vacate her office, then put me in the room with HR on a zoom call and two empolyees helping facilitate. Then did a walk of the plant floor. Then back to the office room, for another round of zoom video interview on desk with another employee in the room. It was so entirely bizarre. The real kick was, they decided they didn't want to hire me because they were worried about my commute. They cited, I asked if I could come in early to dodge traffic when 1st shift starts (typically 5-6am) and reason for concern. (I did not inquire about leaving early)
