I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at shopkick (Redwood City, CA) in Sept 2018
Interview
Interviewing for Shopkick was a great experience! I heard back from the recruiter less than 24 hours after applying online. I then was scheduled for a phone screening a few days after. The phone interview was over within 5 minutes because would be completing a video editing assignment. The recruiter sent over the assignment which I completed and I was asked to come in for an onsite interview. The onsite interview took 1.5 hours. I met with four people and was asked questions regarding how I worked, what I felt about social media marketing, and lots of questions about video editing and productions. I was told my result a few days later. Although I didn't get the position, I felt Iike I was treated fairly well. The recruiter did a great job keeping me updated via email on any changes throughout the process. He scheduled all the interviews very quickly and didn't keep me in the dark about anything. The onsite interview felt very casual with all the interviewers making feel comfortable during each questioning. I would interview for them again if given a chance.
