I applied via LinkedIn. Within 24 hours, I was contacted by a hiring manager who invited me to a one-way interview, which I completed. Within 48 hours of completing, I was sent an email that they would not be moving forward.
I could write that given my experience and enthusiasm in the interview, I was surprised not to make it to the next round (which I was). However, what I found the most surprising was that, from a company who literally claims to focus on nothing but high-quality HR, I was given no reason as to why I was not considered, I replied back to the hiring manager twice to inquire on any feedback that could be helpful as I continue to apply to similar roles during my job search, and I never received a reply.
This wouldn’t surprise me from any other company, but from an HR company, it sort of tells me they’re not walking the walk. I feel certain they would educate any company who is outsourcing their services that proper feedback should be given to anyone who has used their time to do an interview. I have seen this job reposted several times, so I am even more confused as to what they are looking for that they haven’t found yet. Just an odd experience all around.
