Interview
Very informal process.. essentially just a conversation. They ask about your resume and a conversation just builds from their ... no specific questions... they want to make sure you know how to use excel and if you have the ability to learn computer software programs quickly (retail solutions)...
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at madden global solutions, inc. (Quincy, MA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Applied to position listed on college career portal. Was offered a time a few days later and took it. I met and interviewed with the president, another business analyst, and another employee. The owner talked about the wealth of experience and challenges the position would offer, while the other 2 employees gave thinly-veiled warnings about the company. They had both worked for MGS between 2-5 years. One specifically said, when we were discussing how enjoyable it is to work for the company, "you might want to look somewhere else [if you want an enjoyable job]". In retrospect, I am thankful I interviewed with those 2 employees, since they convinced me not to accept an offer.
I never received any direct communication after the interview. After a week or so, I talked to my career advisor through my school (who had posted the position). She reached out and after a few tries, was told "[filling the position] just isn't a priority for us right now". She told me of a previous bad experience another student had had, and told me it was probably for the best. At the time, I was disappointed. Now, though, I'm glad I steered clear of this company. The employees themselves (in interviews and in other reviews on this site) make it abundantly clear that the workplace is negative and unhappy and no useful experience can be earned here (in fact, having MGS on your resume may hurt it).

Interview
This guy couldn't hold the interview me the office because I was to "replace someone else who was not getting along with anyone else and didn't fit in with the office culture."
Everytime he talked to me it was an identical conversation to the previous ones as if we hadn't talked before, and he was basically just trying to dangle a carrot in front of me to keep my interest while he was "handling" the one who was about to be Axed.
My impression of the company was the dynamics were screwed up, upper management is not able to retain anything, and they celebrate their own mediocrity and call it "innovative."
No thank you.
