I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at lululemon (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2020
Interview
This was actually a great interview.
From the moment I walked in, I had to sign in digitally where a printout sticker badge with my picture and name was printed, very high tech. Nice touch for the first impression.
My interviewer was there waiting for me and took me to the conference room where 3 other colleagues from the team were located and warmly greeted me.
I was asked a few questions about my experience in my field as well as prompted for a demonstration on the white board on how I handle a new hire and the steps involved
I was also asked about how I manage my work as well as if I had any experience with specific tools such as cloud based systems and automated onboarding tools
The process was quite social and I was really happy with how it went. Unfortunately I was not offered a position (this was a contract to hire roll) as they decided to go with someone with more experience. Based on this interview, if they ever wanted to hire me in the future for this or any other role, I would definitely consider it as the pay rate was amazing (40$/hr as a consultant) and they have a great fitness/yoga based culture.
This role would have let me control my work hours and their office equipment at their satellite office I visited was top of the line.
It is definitely a company I would love to work for at some point in my career as they also have an amazing corporate discount on their apparel as a full time permanent employee as well as a great cash back fitness program.
