iI had a group interview with 8 people. The interviewers were very friendly and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. They asked questions popcorn style and everyone got a chance to answer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time that you made someone feel included.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at lululemon in Jul 2014
Interview
Applied online and received an invitation to the group interview the next day. It said to dress comfortably and luckily I researched online so I wore lululemon. It was early, before the store opened. Myself, another girl, and a guy sat on pillows with an assistant store manager and key leader. We chatted for an hour. I had done some research so knew what to expect. I was just myself and the interview included lots of joking and laughing, very laid back. They asked questions very similar to what is on here already such as:
"What do you bring to the world? Name a time you broke the rules and whether it worked out. When was the last time you gave feedback?"
They told us they would get back to us within 4 days. On the fourth day I received a call with an invitation to go on a sweat date that week. Mine was at a spin class and I arrived to see both interviewers from the group interview. Also another girl from my group interview was there so be prepared that it might not be a one on one sweat date. I did get to speak with someone one on one for about 20-30 minutes before our class. Instead of asking such scripted questions, we had more of a conversation about my goals and where I see myself and how lululemon would help me get there. I had a great time and they said I'd hear within three days if they wanted to move forward.
They gave me a call and said they wanted to move forward to the final stage, an interview with the store manager. I went in to the store and had a brief meeting with the store manager that again was more of a conversation and less like an interview. She hired me on the spot. Overall I would say just feel out the specific store because those are the people who you will be working with and who will ultimately hire you.
Amazing it was easy not hard and conducted through online platforms easy to access and have good conversation with, need to practice and search up their fabrics beforehand. Must be knowledgable about your own hobbies sports
Expect 2 group interviews with 6-10 candidates per group. Be prepared to share specific stories regarding conflict resolution, receiving constructive feedback, your favorite coach/boss, your biggest accomplishment, etc. Come dressed to impress with your favorite lululemon outfit and be prepared to sell it!
