The interview seemed to go on for quite a while, stretching out to about 40 minutes. What surprised me was the sheer number of questions they asked. While the questions themselves weren't too difficult, there were just so many of them. But the most puzzling part came in the middle of the interview when they asked me to design a database on the spot. No pen no paper all in my head. It felt quite absurd because designing a database requires careful planning and visualization. It's not something that can be easily done solely in your mind. Instead of focusing on quantity, they could opt for a smaller set of thoughtful questions that allow for more meaningful discussions.
