The interview process starts with a screen, a couple mechanical and aptitude tests, then moves into a couple video interviews with the final interview being on-site meeting many of the directors for sales, product, and the CEO. Overall a great process that lets you get to know multiple sides of the business and let’s you see the company in full to make sure everything is the right fit.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you approach you keep yourself motivated/focused?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ifm efector
Interview
The first interview was a standard vetting process by someone in HR. I liked the interview and thought I could see myself at this company. It was pretty easy, just be polite and advocate for yourself. Also ask questions to the interviewer to show your enthusiasm. After the interview I was told that I had advanced to the next round which is the Bennett mechanical aptitude test. There's practice tests online. I aced the mechanical test and moved on to the Caliper personality test round. I did not pass the personality test apparently. I say apparently because I GOT GHOSTED BY THE HIRING TEAM. Through reddit research I have come to the conclusion that something in my personality test indicated that aspects of my personality are "not coachable" and thus boom I'm no longer a candidate for the job.
My advice is: do not show a speck of empathy/feelings/sympathy on the personality test - they will ghost you.
