First red flag: During the initial 30 minute call where the interviewer had said they wanted to get to know me, they jumped into asking me very specific stats questions that did not make sense. When I asked them to clarify, the admitted that they did not understand the question themselves.
Second red flag: I was told the interview process would take 5-6 interviews. This tells me they dont know what they are looking for.
Third red flag: No clear hiring timeline. This job posting has been up for months.
fourth red flag:
The case they gave me was overly complicated, tedious, and its questions were not clear. On top of all that, they want you to document everything! it needs to be documented to the point where they can replicate everything you did. Documentation doubles the time it takes to do this case.
You wont get this case done in less than 10 hours. You will probably take 15.
Fifth red flag: After the case they did not interview me. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. When I asked for feedback, they told me they could not guarantee it.
Sixth red flag: I had to push them to receive feedback by reminding them that feedback and mentorship is supposed to be core to who they are,
Seventh rad flag: When I got the feedback it was clear to me that they did not read through my case, AND that their questions were not easy to understand.
Dont waste your time applying for a $75k job that wants a $125K employee.
