I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at alliantgroup, LP (Houston, TX) in Apr 2017
Interview
Interviewer was extremely rude and cold. Didn't acknowledge anything I said, although I didn't expect her to based off her tone. Rudely cut-off interview, I've never had that happen. Never answered follow-up e-mail.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at alliantgroup, LP (Houston, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
The interview process started with me applying on linkedin. I received a call from a recruiter who lived in california. The interview went well in my opinion but after about 3 months I didn't hear anything back. I reapplied for a different role and the recruiter didn't even know that I'd interviewed with the company before. When I mentioned it and the name of the lady who interviewed me, I found out she was no longer with the company. I thought this odd because the lady really sold me on the value of Alliantgroup and how much she loved it. I think this plays into the comments you see on the site about high turn over.
I went down to the office for the interview and complimented the building and such. Always do that. I checked out the atmosphere and I must say it seems counter to what I see on the website. At the same time I was in the lobby and it could very well be a sweat shop behind closed doors. I don't like the fact that people wear jeans and T-Shirts honestly. I think that is pretty outrageous. This isn't a frat house.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at alliantgroup, LP (Houston, TX)
Interview
3 interviews, all very short. Mostly them talking about how great the company is and what they're working on.
They don't really care how competent you are, but if you look presentable and can hold a conversation you're good to go. Then, when you get that offer, use it as leverage somewhere else.
