I applied through the website and a few days later was contacted by a Recruiter via email for an initial phone screening. After speaking for about 30 minutes, I was asked to send my availability that same week so she could schedule a second phone screening with someone on the team. I did this immediately and the Recruiter never responded or contacted me again about the position, ignoring my emails when I followed up. This is a pretty rude habit that sadly seems to be quite common for many Recruiters. The least you could do is send a canned response that you decided to go in another direction.
