Questions were asked at a lightning pace. Looking back the guy might not have been interested in me (Then why call me?). Given the company reviews, I may have dodged a bullet. I an older candidate so I don't know if that factored in. The interviewer still had to develop a balanced ego, but was nice.....in...a.....way

Interview
After initial conversations with a recruiter, I had one phone interview followed by an on-site day. The on-site day started with a presentation of my past work, after which I met employees at scientist / director level across the company in a 1:1 or small group setting. I also had a chance to see the facilities and meet potential future coworkers.

Question 1
Throughout the process I discussed a range of technical, intellectual, motivational, and interpersonal questions. I appreciated that there was time for me to ask questions too - I left with a much better sense of the type of people I would be working with and their 'why' of being at Zymergen.
