      Software Support Engineer Interview

      2 Dec 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Zulily (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2010

      Interview

HR liked me and I think I could have done a good job there. The programming team is all young male and I think (my personal opinion here) that they didn't want an older female joining their ranks. I think I owuld have been good at that job, but, of course, I would have to learn more internet programming skills...which would have been pretty easy. Unfortunately, my interview with the programmer kind of fizzled out. He asked me to reverse a string, which I did no problem. But I noticed towards the end, he was too busy looking at his computer, than what was going on in the interview. I'm not sure where I lost him. Everyone was very nice, and very very busy. They did say everyone works 50 hour weeks and more. Everyone seems hard working and happy.
