Friendly interviewers, very knowledgeable people. Process went well, multiple rounds, ultimately not successful but had a positive experience over all. Good tech, looks like it would be a good place to work.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Zoox in Mar 2023
Interview
2 Technical Phone Calls, 1 Virtual Onsite. Total process took ~5 weeks, but due to internal headcount issues, the process was dragged out so much longer that their team ultimately resulted in them changing their requirements for the candidate for a more senior role. Very unprofessional experience.

Question 1
Test scenario questions. Python code analysis questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zoox (Foster City, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
Got an email from Recruiter and had a call with them followed by 30 min call with Hiring Manager. Got called for a 4-hour on-site interview including lunch. The interview was 30 min presentation followed by 6 one on one and lunch. Just 2 people showed up for the presentation and then in one on one everyone was asking irrelevant questions regarding Ethernet and SOC. One guy from the Hardware team was asking questions from his phone with no knowledge of my background. The other interviewers are okay and got a tour of their facility.
After 4 days got a rejection email.
One thing that stood out to me was the only reason they think they can build an EV car was because they have few Ex-Tesla people, which I think absolute nonsense.
