Interview
There is a lot of disconnect between ZoomInfo's recruiting team and the management team you interview with. The recruiters would call and give feedback on the interview with the management team; where they would say the management team has issues with ABC and has concerns with XYZ. If the management team has these concerns, why not bring them up to me in the interview? Why ask the recruiter about that and have the recruiter answer on my behalf?
The last stage of the interview process is a mock presentation, where they give you access to ZoomInfo to complete it. The information ZoomInfo had on that account was incorrect and not accurate. I understand that not everyone's phone # will be correct. But their platform listed 95 employees, the companies LinkedIn page showed less than 45 employees. The majority of contacts within ZoomInfo's database didn't work for the account they had given for the presentation.
Giving your candidates accounts with bad data is a massive slap in the face. You want the candidate to prospect for new contacts, how can they do when all of your data is incorrect? This causes the presentation to be extremely disorganized and not what their management team is looking for.
Additionally the management team comes across as incredibly cut throat and competitive. They were not engaged in any of my interviews and would ask hyper specific questions in the last few minutes of the interview. When there wasn't enough time left to answer those questions in the amount of detail they want.
The management team needs to bring up their concerns in the interview process and must stop hiding behind the recruiting team. Overall the interview experience at ZoomInfo is unorganized and overly competitive. ZoomInfo's product is giving people phone numbers and emails, you're not saving lives; so stop acting like it.

Interview
The interview process was smooth. I got a chance to meet quite a few members of the team and had ample opportunity to learn about their experience with the company. I worked with McKenzie Griffin on their recruiting team who was super helpful and communicative throughout. Hands down the best recruiter I've worked with.

Throughout the process, I was asked about my sales style, my approach to partnering with customers, and what I see as my biggest strengths.
I had the pleasure of working with McKenzie Griffin during the interview process, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. McKenzie was incredibly proactive in keeping me informed and ensuring I was up to date throughout the entire process. She was always willing to help and made sure next steps were clear. Additionally, her follow-ups were timely and efficient. It was truly refreshing to work with someone so organized and dedicated.
