The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Zingit Solutions
Interview
The process was relatively easy, however interview itself screamed to get away from this place - it did not seem organized and was way too laid back. The owner looked like he has not slept in days - red flag on work/life balance.
Our typical interview process is a 15 min phone interview, followed up with a 2nd 15 min phone interview and then an in person interview. Our intent is to create the right balance of a casual work environment while keeping the urgency of growing the business. We definitely are not a rigid, large corporate organization. We understand this type of atmosphere is not for everyone, which is why this is one of the topics discussed during the in person interview. We look for people that will thrive in a casual work place and can embrace the ever changing needs of our customers
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zingit Solutions (Vernon Hills, IL) in Jul 2017
Interview
Terrible. Red flags everywhere. The process took two phone calls and 5 in-person interviews with the final being with the boss. He is a miserable person and each interview was worse and worse. Every employee complained that there is no training, it was sink or swim, a very gossipy environment and that there were definitely cliques. If you couldn’t sit at the cool kids table, you were outcast. They were all throwing a past employee under the bus. They all also warned that the boss just yells at you in front of everyone for any little mistake made, despite those fact that there is zero accountability on his end for the lack of training. I refused the offer in the end and am so happy for that decision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask you to explain situations on how you handle things. Not really asked questions.
Interview process was long and there was signs I should have picked up on to not accept a job from this place. I wish I never saw the ad for this job because it was the worst decision in my life.
