07/16/2025 – First contact with company
07/17/2025 – Call screen with first recruiter
07/23/2025 – Phone call with second recruiter
07/29/2025 – First video interview with hiring manager
08/07/2025 – Second recruiter advised I was moving on to the final interview round
08/12/2025 & 08/14/2025 – Final Interview (split over two days)
Split because one of the six scheduled interviewers was unavailable on the first day.
Upon arrival, I had difficulty reaching someone: rang the doorbell multiple times and called the number provided by the administrative assistant before being let in.
Final interview conducted from a conference room, with five of six interviewers remote via Teams. Only the administrative assistant attended in person.
Interview panel included: VP of IT, an executive, the administrative assistant, an IT consultant, the Director of HR, the Associate Director of IT, and the IT Hiring Manager.
The hiring manager repeated the same questions from our 07/29 interview and seemed scattered and disengaged; however, I answered thoroughly. Conversations with the rest of the panel were positive, professional, and comfortable.
08/18/2025 – Hiring manager initially told me I would hear back by this date. After no update, I contacted the second recruiter, who said a decision would instead be made by 08/22/2025.
08/22/2025 – Deadline passed with no communication (no calls or emails).
08/24/2025 – Sent a follow-up email to the second recruiter requesting confirmation on status and feedback, but still had not received a response.
08/25/2025 - Email reply from 2nd recruiter . said would call me for update, spoke on phone told not moving forward and they are still interview other candidates. Recommend for the future to send a follow up email instead.
