First you have a Skype call with one of the managing partners. You get a lot of questions and you would think that with that they cover everything they need to know. But at the very last minute, after already doing a design test and spending a lot of time on that and the accompanied communication, they suddenly tell me I need to have a Bachelor's degree. Doesn't matter that I have other degrees and a portfolio going 10 years back to prove my skills, no, they need that piece of paper at the very last minute. So after a lot of "you got the job", "sorry you didn't get the job", "o wait we do want to hire you", "o no, we don't want to hire you anymore", ... it was all a proper waste of time and energy. If they are like this as an employer as well, I really wouldn't want to work there anymore.
Oh and they were also not happy because I didn't want to contact one of my previous employers for a reference who I filed an official discrimination complaint against ...
Very unprofessional!
