I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Z-Ben Advisors in Feb 2019
Interview
I was contacted by an HR who scheduled an initial phone interview. The interview was then rescheduled on the day of, because the interviewer was apparently sick. The interview was then rescheduled three more times, each time the HR contacted me (after the time we had agreed on) to say that they couldn't reach my phone, which was untrue because my line was working and I was able to receive other calls. I found the process very unprofessional - the HR would confirm a time with me before confirming the time with the interviewer and when they couldn't reach my phone they refused to attempt conducting the interview on WeChat or Skype. A total waste of time!

Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Z-Ben Advisors (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Feb 2014
Interview
Two rounds of in-person interviews:
1. Two 30 min standard chats with manager-level consultants seperately
2. "Superday" with 3 Director-level interviews back-to-back, then with the Founder.
Originally I had applied for a different position and interviewed with a different department, but the interviewer decided that I was better suited elsewhere, so he asked for my opinion and referred me to Research/Consulting.
Personally, a bit selling point for me was the company culture. Good fit for someone stands at the crossroad of the East and West.
