Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating delays and lack of communication can be.
We’d like to clarify a few points about our process. Due to the extremely high number of applications we have received (and are still receiving) for our Unity Developer roles, it can take time to properly review every application. We make a point of carefully assessing all candidates across all of our roles to ensure a fair and consistent process.
There are a few common reasons why an application may be declined or delayed:
- We require candidates to achieve 70% or above in the assessment. If your result was below this threshold, your application would not progress.
- Our assessment platform (Coderbyte) may detect potential or definite cheating during the assessment. In such cases, applications are automatically declined.
- A candidate’s CV/profile may not match the specific requirements of the role, such as experience on a relevant type of game project.
We also want to reassure you that we have multiple openings for this role, and every single applicant will receive an email regarding the status of their application once we have completed the review stage.
We recognise that in your case our communication did not meet expectations, and we are working to improve response times and ensure all candidates are kept informed throughout the process.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.
