The interview process is one of the most thorough interview processes I’ve ever been through. Key word being “thorough”, rather than “hard”. I started out by speaking with someone from HR to learn more about the company, and was given more information about the culture and what the firm does. Afterwards I was given a “case-study” which took a few hours (they said it would take an hour, took me 3 because I was overthinking it). Very simple exercise IF you know what you’re doing. After this step (by a week) I was given an interview with a member of the team I was joining. Spoke about my experience and the role. After I passed this round, I was given the REAL case study, which I was given a week to complete. Comprised of analyzing data and writing a 3 page report. Took me around 20-25 hours to complete. In all honesty, it was not hard, but very long. The main difficulty would be juggling with work, but my case was different. I had a medical issue which barred me from doing the case, and the team was extremely accommodative and supportive throughout. After submitting the case by a few weeks I was given 4 more interviews (they give you the option to do one block or break them up), during which you go over the case study, do another on the fly case study with the data team, and two behavioral interviews. Overall, the interview process was very thorough - objectively a bit too thorough and could do by skimming it down as many can find it difficult to balance it with work. However, the entire team was so incredibly supportive, kind, and genuine, it made the whole process worth it.
