      Sales Training Manager Interview

      29 Mar 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Ciudad de Mexico
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ya Ganaste (Ciudad de Mexico) in Mar 2024

      Interview

I encountered a situation during the interview where several questions were asked that seemed unrelated to the position. Additionally, after nearly an hour of interviewing, I was suddenly asked about skills that were not mentioned in the job description, but were labeled as mandatory. This experience led me to reflect on a few questions: Why aren't mandatory skills clearly listed in the job description? And why aren't these requirements addressed earlier in the interview process? It's important for job descriptions to accurately outline the essential skills and qualifications needed for a role. Clearly stating mandatory skills upfront helps both the employer and the applicant align their expectations and ensures a more efficient and transparent hiring process. By clarifying these requirements from the start, candidates can better assess their fit for the position and prepare accordingly. Moreover, it would be beneficial for employers to address these mandatory skills earlier in the interview process. This approach allows candidates to showcase their relevant experience and expertise in those specific areas, and it saves both parties valuable time and effort. By discussing these requirements upfront, employers can ensure that candidates who proceed to subsequent stages possess the necessary qualifications. Transparency and effective communication are vital in the hiring process. Clearly listing mandatory skills in the job description and addressing them early during interviews can foster a more efficient and respectful experience for both job seekers and employers. Let's strive for a hiring process that values transparency, respects candidates' time, and sets clear expectations from the outset.
