Terrible. As other interviewees and current employees have described, there is something really wrong with this place. You can both feel it and sense it each time you interact with the organization.
But my specific complaint: I was a candidate within the interview process at the third round level. Up to that point they had promptly and swiftly communicated with me, and I to them. I met their requests with clarity and with precision. They had gushed over me, stating how perfect I would fit the role, when I was rudely informed I would not be allowed to continue to interview because they had decided only now, and after several weeks of the job being publicly posted, they would be pursuing internal candidates, and internal candidates only.
This is unprofessional and absent of any consideration, violating all order of operations and lacking all goodwill. To the YPO HR team, the YPO hiring managers, and the YPO leadership: get your act together, be more professional with your business practices, and stop wasting people's time.
Your members should really learn what a hypocritical leadership symbol you represent.
