The interview process at Xylem was very straightforward. It consisted of an initial phone screening with a recruiter, followed by a single virtual meeting with the engineering manager. The technical questions were quite basic, focusing mostly on my past CAD experience rather than complex problem-solving. Ultimately, I received an offer but declined it for another opportunity.

Question 1
Can you walk me through your experience with 3D modeling and CAD software for mechanical components?
I applied online. I interviewed at Xylem (Hot Springs, AR) in Jun 2026
Interview
Interviewed virtually with three different levels of management, all went well. Easy laid back and conversational. A little ambiguity on roles and titles and how they fit into the organizational structure, but overall a good experience.

Question 1
How do you deal with operational roadblocks when managing processes.
The process was a standard interview process. I applied online and then was invited to a phone screen. On the phone screen I was told my resume would be passed onto the hiring manager to determine if they wanted to move forward. I followed up via email and didn't hear back. I got an automated email a month later that I did not move forward.
