I interviewed for a position in Prague, and my overall experience was mixed.
The first-round interview was very positive. The interviewer was friendly, professional, and created a comfortable atmosphere, which made the conversation smooth and engaging.
However, the second-round interview with the hiring manager was disappointing. Communication was difficult due to unclear English, which made it challenging to fully understand the questions. Basic information (such as my current company) had to be repeated multiple times, which disrupted the flow of the interview.
Some of the questions did not seem relevant to the job description, and the overall tone felt discouraging and, at times, unprofessional. For example, there were direct comments questioning my ability to handle the role without sufficient context or evaluation. The interviewer also interrupted frequently, which made the conversation uncomfortable.
In addition, I did not receive any follow-up or feedback after the interview process.
As a candidate with over 8 years of experience, I expected a more structured, respectful, and professional interview process, especially from a global company.
Suggestion: improve interviewer training, particularly communication skills and professionalism, and ensure candidates receive proper follow-up after interviews.
